Brief History of SamotSariPh
I was working as a financial consultant in a multi-national financial insurance company when my entrepreneurial spirit has been ignited in me sometime in September 2018. I've always dreamed of having my own business but nothing to start with in terms of a sound business idea and capital to start my business.
I learned from great business gurus through the books that I read that you don't have to look far and wide just to get that one big idea. I also realized that an entrepreneur is more of a problem-solver. He or she looks for opportunities to solve a problem in his or her community. You can look for pain points in your life that needs to be solved.
For the longest time, I had been wanting to cleanup and declog our house with things that we've kept a long time ago. Unused gifts, old clothes and unused products are just some of the items stored on our warehouse. Now, an idea came to me to sell those items. They are still in good condition and yes, still very usable. Later on, I was able to sell most of the items and I was able to earn and save up for my business capital and expansion. I disciplined myself not to spend what I earn and I learned how to efficiently revolve my business funds.
That's my first AHA moment there. I literary started from zero (nothing). I have this Slogan for SamotSariPh: "From Zero to Hero" or "From Nothing to Something", our amazing Journey to Greatness! Yeah, sound amazing right?
I just hope to inspire aspiring entrepreneurs out there who want to test waters in entrepreneurship or in business but have been paralyzed by fear and doubt. You need to have faith - faith in yourself and most importantly faith in God. If I did it, you can too!😀
